BMP51 Driver Installation
The BMP51 driver must be installed to function with 3rd party software and LabelMark 6. Brady Workstation does not require the Windows driver for this printer: Brady Workstation - Direct Print Compatibility.
Driver Download & Installation
Do not connect the printer to your PC via USB until prompted to by the driver. If the USB has already been connected, see: Brady Printer Drivers - Checking Printer Status Failed.
- Download the latest version of the driver (link).
- Right click and choose "Extract All..."
- Right click the executable and choose "Run as administrator".
Note: Reach out to your IT administrator if the driver wizard does not launch, starts to launch and quits, or you are prompted to enter admin credentials.
- Wait for the driver .exe to extract, select your language and then select Next.
- Ensure the printer is not connected via USB, then select Install.
- Select the BMP51(53) and select Next.
- Connect the BMP51 USB to the USB port on the printer, connect the other end of the USB cable to the PC, and select Next.
- Follow instructions in the driver wizard to complete the installation. Select Next.
- Select Next.
- The Brady Network Card Configuration will install. Once completed, select Next.
- The Installation Complete screen displays. Select Finish.
