Export and Import Print Data Automation Print ChannelsData Automation channels are configured to use a printer, template, watch folder, and field mappings, and other settings. These settings can be transferred to a new PC, provided the original Data Automation installation is still accessible.
- Download and Install Data Automation on the new computer.
- Copy ChannelConfig.xml from C:\ProgramData\Brady Corp\Data Automation to network, cloud, or portable storage.
- Navigate to the same directory on the new PC, copy the ChannelConfig.xml into the folder.
- After adding the ChannelConfig.xml into the new computer, you would have to restart the Data Automation Services and Brady Workstation.
Note: All the watch folders, templates, and Excel Worksheets would have to be in the same path as how the channel was originally setup for it or you will have to remap everything as if setting a new channel.
