The Express Labels application allows custom label files from Brady Workstation. Follow the instructions on how to import the file to Express Labels and create the custom label type in the app.
Important: A custom label file with multiple columns will not work in Express Labels.
Import the Custom .XML Label File
- Create the custom label file in Brady Workstation: Brady Workstation - How to Add Custom Label Parts to configure page size, orientation, calibration method, etc. for Brady custom labels or Non-Brady labels.
- Export the custom label file: Brady Workstation - Import and Export Custom Parts.
Note: You can email the file or add the file to one of the available cloud applications within Express Labels.
- Open Express Labels.
- Select the three bars in the top left to open the menu.
- Select Custom Labels.
- Select the Import Custom Labels button.
- Select the Storage location where the file is stored and select the .XML file.
- The Custom supply imported message displays at the bottom of the screen.
- Press the back arrow at the top left to return to the main menu.
Select the Custom Label
Note: Steps may be slightly different depending on the Label selected on the main menu.
- Select a Label type on the main menu.
- If Express Labels displays the label edit screen, tap the label part number at the top.
- Select the arrow for Supply.
- Click the X for each printer at the top. Repeat until no printers are selected.
- Tap in the search bar.
- Type the name of the custom part.
- Tap the custom part to select it.
- Tap the pencil in the yellow circle to go back to create the label.
