Body | Issues/SymptomsBBP85 getting an error 90, ribbon shorter than the media installed, please install monochrome ribbon or 15 inch panel ribbon.CauseColor panel ribbons cannot print a label longer than the space of an individual panel.  These are the max print lengths the BBP85 can perform using continuous media with different ribbon type combinations:
- Single Color: 16 ft (5 m)
- Multi color: 8 in. - (using 8" paneled ribbons)
- Multi-color: 14 in. (355 mm) - by using 16" paneled ribbons*
- Multi-color: 2.5 ft (762 mm) - by swapping monochrome ribbons
*If the label material matches one of the colors on the ribbon (e.g. read and orange ribbon on orange label material), the printer will only count the black ribbon as usable. ResolutionUse a monochrome (single color) ribbon. If multiple colors are required, use ribbon-swapping to print the label in multiple passes. Note that color panel ribbons can never be "rewound" since this will not reset the chip counter, so printing single-color labels with panel ribbons will result in significant ribbon waste.
