Fit to Frame in Custom Designer
Users can set a barcode to fit within the bounding box, even when importing variable-length data. The app adjusts the barcode density to maintain a fixed size, ensuring the barcode does not overlap other objects. Previously, barcodes would grow or shrink based on the amount of data imported into each barcode. Fit to frame adjusts the object for the height and not the width.
The Fit to Frame feature is compatible with 2D barcodes. Linear barcodes have specific width and density requirements, preventing them from conforming to the Fit to Frame boundaries.
- Set the size and position of the barcode on your label or template.
- Click Fit to Frame.
- The barcode stays the same size regardless of the amount of data entered.
