Issue
The user is unable to disable bold font using the BMP41, BMP61, or M610 printer.
Troubleshooting
- Check whether Bold is turned on under FONT.
- Press the Font key to the left of the directional pad.
- Scroll to the right to the Bold option and set this to off by scrolling to the off option.
- Press the enter key in the center of the directional pad.
- Press the backspace key to get back to your label.
- In order for the setting to apply you'll need to clear the label. To do this you can press the FN key, and then press the clear button and Clear Label Data.
- Make sure Bold is not on by default in the Font Settings menu.
- Press the FN key and Setup.
- Scroll right to Font Settings and press the Enter key.
- Scroll down to the checkbox for Bold and press Enter to uncheck it.
- Scroll down to the OK button on this screen and press the Enter key.
- Press backspace to get back to your label editor.
- In order for the setting to apply you'll need to clear the label. To do this you can press the FN key, and then press the clear button and Clear All.
- Change the Font Type. If you want a narrow text, select Brady Fixed Width.
- Press the FN key and Setup.
- Scroll right to Font Settings and press the Enter key.
- Press the Enter key for Typeface.
- In this menu you can select the font. Brady Alpine is much thicker and Brady Fixed Width is more narrow. Use the navigational arrows to navigate to the font and press Enter.
- Use the navigational arrows to scroll down to the OK button on the screen and press Enter.
- Press backspace once to get back to your label editor.
- In order for the setting to apply you'll need to clear the label. To do this you can press the FN key, and then press the clear button and Clear All.
