Title	BMP71 - How to create a barcode (stand-alone)

In order to create a barcode when using your BMP71 stand-alone (without a PC) please follow these steps:

Press the ‘Setup’ key
Navigate to the ‘Barcode’ tab
Select your settings for the following options:
- Barcode type
  - Code 39
  - Code 128-(Check Digit will be grayed out and is not an option)
- Height
- Human Readable
  - None
  - Above
  - Below
- Ratio
  - 2:1
  - 3:1
- Width
  - 1 Dot
  - 2 Dot
  - 3 Dot
- Check Digit (This will add an additional character to your scanned barcode for verification purposes. See: BMP41 / BMP51 / BMP61 / BMP71 - Extra characters produced when scanning a Code 39 barcode

Once your settings have been selected, simply press the ‘Barcode’ key to enter your barcode, and insert the data as normal.
