Changing the Font Type on the BMP71
Latest firmware version 2.00.3 includes two fonts:
Additional fonts cannot be imported to this printer model. You will need to connect the printer to a PC and create labels using software to use additional font styles.
The only way to change the font type is from the Setup Menu where you can change the BMP71's default settings. Then you must apply the default settings to the label file.
Note: You may only use 1 font type per label file and the editing screen must be cleared before you can successfully apply the font type.
- Clear the editing screen by pressing CLEAR/ESC and selecting Clear Label Data. (If the editing screen is already empty, simply skip this step)
- Select SETUP.
- Select OK or ENTER on the Font option.
- With the Font Type field highlighted, select OK or ENTER.
- Press the Up or Down directional keys to select the desired font and then press OK or ENTER.
- Select the Down directional key until the on-screen OK option is highlighted.
- Select OK or ENTER.
- The editing screen appears with the SETUP menu at the bottom. Select CLEAR/ESC to exit the SETUP menu.
