Issue

The BMP71 and M710 gives a "cover not closed" error, even though the cover is closed.

Troubleshooting
 
  1. Open the cover and slowly and firmly close the cover. When the cover is closed, you will hear a "click". 
 
  1. Inspect the printer for physical damage to the cover mechanism and sensor pins. 
 
  1. Do not use 3rd party power supplies with this printer, only use the original power supply included with the printer. 
 
  1. Power cycle the printer. 
 
  1. If the error persists then the issue is likely mechanical failure of the sensor board. Contact Brady Technical Support for your region:
