Issue

The "Label and ribbon color are identical" error displays on the LCD screen.

Cause

This error occurs when the ribbon color matches the label/media color. Printing with this combination will not be visible.

Resolution

To correct this error, replace either the ribbon cartridge or label/media roll with a different color.

Press [CLEAR/ESC] key to clear error.
