Create Barcodes on the BMP41 and M410 standaloneBarcode Settings
- Press the Settings button located in the upper left corner of the keyboard.
- Use the navigational arrows to highlight Barcode.
- Press Enter.
- Use the navigational arrows to access the different barcode fields:
Note: Press Enter to expand the list. Use the navigational arrows to highlight the selection and press Enter.
- Barcode symbology - Only Code 39 and Code 128 are available on the printer standalone. To print other barcode symbologies, use Brady Workstation.
- Height - 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) to 1.2 inches (30.48 mm).
- Human readable - None, Above, or Below. Location of the text associated with the barcode.
- Ratio - 2:1 or 3:1. The relationship of narrow elements to wide elements, where elements are bars and spaces.
- Width - 1 Dot, 2 Dot, or 3 Dot. Controls the thickness of the bars and spaces within the barcode.
- Check Digit - Used for error detection in a barcode. A single digit computed from the other digits in the barcode. Only available for Code 39.
- Enter the Height by pressing the corresponding number keys.
- Use the navigational arrows to highlight OK once all settings are entered.
- Press Enter.
- Press the back arrow / Clear once.
Create the Barcode
- Press the Barcode button to add the barcode to the label.
- Enter the information for the barcode.
Note: If you want to serialize the barcode. Enter the barcode and then press FN + SERIAL to add the serialization data to the barcode.
