Issue

Labels printing out of the BMP21-PLUS has text that is "mashed" or squished together - the printer does not advance label material fast enough for proper character spacing.

Troubleshooting

1. Clean the printer of adhesive residue: BMP21 / BMP21 Plus / BMP21 LAB - How to clean printer

2. Try a different cartridge. If possible, load a cartridge with a different part and lot number.

3. Check battery power.

If using the Lithium rechargeable battery, make sure it has been charged correctly: BMP21 Plus - Battery Pack must be out of the printer when charging it with the AC Adapter
If using AA's, make sure they are alkaline AA's: BMP21 / BMP21-PLUS / BMP21-LAB - Printer doesn't power on (Recommended Batteries)
Try printing connected to the AC power supply.
