Issues/SymptomsThe Brady BMP21-PLUS / M210 displays a "cannot fit" error message. Causes
- This can occur if a key is stuck, such as the enter key.
- If you receive a Cannot Fit error message as you are typing, it means that there is no more room on the label for additional text using the font and settings you currently are using.
- This error can occur if you selected Wire or Fixed Length and you really want Banner. If so, press the Label Type key and select the appropriate label type.
- Sometimes people press Enter after typing out of habit. On the BMP21/BMP21-PLUS/BMP21-LAB, when you press Enter, that creates a new line below the current line. If there is no room for another line of text, it displays CANNOT FIT. If you do not want another line, do not press Enter. Just press Print if you want to print.
- Mechanical or firmware failure
