BBP30 Firmware Note: The BBP30 users should reference this article to perform the screen-bypass upgrade. The firmware installer on BradyID requires screen access: BBP30 - USB Firmware Upgrade Bypass Create the USB Firmware Upgrade Drive
- Note - You may need to format the flash drive to remove any preloaded software. Preloaded software can interfere with the upgrade process. Formatting will remove all data on the flash drive.
1. Download the firmware for you printer.  2. Extract the firmware files.  3. Open the extracted folder and then the USB Upgrade folder.  4. Copy the BootUpgrade and Safe Upgrade folders to the root of the USB flash drive. Upgrade the Printer Firmware
1. Take the flashdrive to the printer.
2. Remove the power cable from the printer.
3. Insert your USB flashdrive. 4. Hold down the FEED button on the printer, plug in the power cable. 5. Continuing holding 'FEED' for approx. 1 min until the option to upgrade appears on the screen of the BBP33 printer.
6. Proceed with upgrading.
7. The machine will reboot itself when complete. |
