Body | IssueThe A6500 takes a long time to boot up (5-15 minutes). CauseThis may occur when the printer has thousands of label files stored in memory. ResolutionClear unused label files, or set the A6500 to automatically delete label files after the job has been printed. The A6500 can also be configured to store label files to an external USB drive for easier mass deletion by formatting the USB drive.
Set the A6500 to delete jobs after printing: Automatically Delete Jobs After Printing on the A6500To switch the A6500 from using the internal SD card to external USB drive:
1. On the home page of the touch screen, tap Settings, then tap Printer Configuration. 2. Tap File Location, then tap External USB.Still Not Working? Contact Brady Technical Support for your region for additional troubleshooting: Global Brady Technical Support Contact InformationSee Also
