- Save Brady Workstation files directly to your printer: Brady Workstation labels can now be saved to a USB flash drive and imported to the printer (without having to connect to a PC)
- Dynamic date/time support: Users can now save Brady Workstation files to the printer with dynamic date/time stamp fields that update automatically. With supported fonts, the date/time stamps automatically update to the printer's current time and date when printing.
- Wrap larger wires with new self-laminating labels: Automatically print and wrap cable diameters up to 0.25" with the new 1.5" self-laminating labels. NOTE: Firmware v1.1.803195 is required to function properly with these labels.
- New user-friendly UI: The new, user-friendly “Files” and “Print” apps can better support most common user workflows.
Things to note with the firmware update:
- The firmware version is field installable for all existing Wraptor A6200 printers.
- Supported languages are: Arial, Courier New, MS Gothic, Malgun Gothic, MingLiU, SimSun, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS, Veranda. If the user wishes to use a different font, they will need to download the font file and add it to the printer.
- When the printer is upgraded from current firmware 1.0.128136 to the new firmware version, the time on printer will change by about 8 hours. The work-around to this is to set the date/time on printer to the correct date/time after the upgrade. Once set, it will retain through power cycles and future firmware upgrades.
