The password allows the blocking of other users from changing settings on the printer.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Printer Password.
- Tap the switch to change enable a password. If the switch is gray, it is off. If the switch is blue, it is on.
- Tap Set Printer Password.
- Enter the password, which must be 8 characters and contain at least:
- a number
- an uppercase letter
- a lowercase letter
- Tap the enter key on the virtual keyboard.
- Re-enter the password and tap the enter key on the virtual keyboard.
- Tap Advanced Settings and choose which settings will need a password to be changed.
Changing the Password
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Printer Password.
- Tap Set Printer Password.
- Enter the existing password and tap the enter key on the virtual keyboard.
- Enter a new password, which must be 8 characters and contain at least:

- an uppercase letter
- a lowercase letter
- Enter the new password a second time to confirm it.
- Tap the enter key on the virtual keyboard.
Re-setting the Password
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Printer Password.
- Tap Forgot Password.
- Contact Technical Support: Global Brady Technical Support Contact Information.
- Type in the Printer Key provided by Technical Support.
- Create a new password, which must be 8 characters and contain at least:

- an uppercase letter
- a lowercase letter
- Enter the new password a second time to confirm it.
- Tap the enter key on the virtual keyboard.
