i6100 - Twin Function

Twin function saves the current printer settings, save files (templates, images, download fonts) to another printer using USB, or loads the settings of another printer and saves files to the current printer. 

 

Printer Setting

 

The printer setting saves the printer settings to a USB drive, or loads the print settings from a USB drive.

File path: F:\configuration

 

Save Settings

 

1. Connect a USB drive to the printer.
2. Select Save on the menu using the up and down buttons.
3. The printer_config file is created in the configuration folder of the USB drive. (The configuration folder is automatically created)

 

Load Settings

 

1. Check whether the printer_config exists in the configuration folder of the USB drive. (If there is no file, save the printer settings first).
2. Connect the USB drive to the printer. 
3. Select Load from the Printer Setup menu using the up and down buttons.
4. A message is displayed while loading. Another message informs you when loading is completed. 
5. Check the printer's settings to confirm the changes.

 

Template

 

Saves a template file to a USB drive, or loads a template from a USB drive.

 

File path: F:\ USER_AREA_TEMPLATES

 

Save a Template

 

1. Connect a USB drive to the printer.
2. Select Save on the menu using the up and down buttons.
3. Template files are stored in the USER_AREA_TEMPLATES folder of the USB drive. (The USER_AREA_TEMPLATES folder is automatically created.)

 

Load a Template

 

1. Check whether the template file exists in the USER_AREA_TEMPLATES folder of the USB drive. (If the file does not exists, create a USER_AREA_TEMPLATES folder and save the template file to be copied on the printer.)
2. Connect the USB driver to the printer.
3. Select Load from the Printer Setup menu using the up and down buttons.
4. A message is display while loading. Another message informs you when loading is completed.
5. Go to the Save File menu and confirm that the template file is saved to the printer. 

 

Image

 

Saves an image file to a USB drive, or loads an image from a USB drive (*.pcx)

 

File path: F:\ USER_AREA_PCXImages

 

Save an image

 

1. Connect a USB drive to the printer.
2. Select Save on the menu using the up and down buttons.
3. Image files are stored in the USER_AREA_PCXImages folder on the USB drive. (The USER_AREA_PCXImages folder is automatically created.)

 

Load an Image

 

1. Check whether the image file exists in the USER_AREA_PCXImages folder of the USB drive. (If the file does not exist, create a USER_AREA_PCXImages folder and save the image file to be copied to the printer.)
2. Connect the USB drive to the printer. 
3. Select Load from the Printer Setup menu using the up and down buttons. 
4. A message is displayed while loading. Another message informs you when loading is completed. 
5. Go to the Save File menu and confirm that the image file is saved to the printer.

 

Download Font

 

Saves font file to a USB storage device, or loads the font from USB storage. 

 

File path: F:\ USER_AREA_FONTS

 

Save a Font

 

1. Connect a USB drive to the printer.

3. Font files are stored in the USER_AREA_FONTS folder on the USB drive. (The USER_AREA_FONTS folder is automatically created.)
