The printer uses 1-4 inch wide ribbons and is set for 4-inch ribbon from the factory. Adjust the ribbon supply spindle according to the ribbon width. 

 

Caution: Do not adjust the ribbon supply spindle while the printer is printing. The printer may be damaged. 

 

 

3-4 Inch Ribbon

 

  1. Pull the spindle out which is the direction that is marked Up on the ribbon supply spindle. 

  1. There will be a gap between the yellow and black part of the spindle. 

 

1-2 Inch Ribbon

 

  1. Push the spindle in which matches the direction of Down on the ribbon supply spindle. 

  1. There is not a gap between the yellow and black part of the spindle.
