Body | Save System Log
The function Save system log allows to store several system files packed to a .zip file to an external storage device (SD card, USB memory module) installed on the printer.
Requirements
- SD Card or USB memory module
Configure the i5100 to save the System Log
- Insert SD card or USB memory module into the printer
- Navigate to the Start menu
- Select Diagnostics > Save system log
- Select the external storage device
- Enter a file name, or use the predefined file name
- Confirm the selection by pressing the green check mark
- The display will process saving the system logs
- When the process completes, press the green check mark. The .zip file will be stored in the root of the storage device.
