Body | i5100 Audible Electronic "Screech" from Print HeadThe i5100 print head makes more audible noise than the IP series predecessor, however this noise does not indicate mechanical failure of the print mechanism. See the attached audio for an example of this sound. Changes were made with the launch of the i5100 to improve printhead durability and lifespan. The level of the noise can also be influenced by the ribbon and label combination used. |
