Using Label Object Copies with Imported Data to Mimic Template Functionality
While creating a template allows you to designate static and variable fields, the same effect can be accomplished in a label file by combining Excel import with the Label Object Copies Feature.
1. Create your descriptive fields, these will mimic the function of "Static" fields in a template.
2. Set each descriptive field to populate every label by using the "To all labels automatically" option in Label Copies
