Body | Universal Core Causes Constant Feeding of Blank LabelsWe have observed instances where the presence of a universal ribbon core appeared to cause calibration issues on the IP series printer. In observed cases, the printer would feed blank labels continuously. Troubleshooting was performed to confirm proper calibration of the printer. Ultimately, swapping the universal ribbon core for an IP-enabled ribbon core resolved this issue. We have not observed this issue on the i5100 model.The universal ribbon core allows the use of non-IP enabled (no RFID chip) ribbon material in the IP series printers.
