IssueAn end user is unable to eject a label cartridge from the BMP51 label maker. ResolutionMake sure the clear plastic locking lever is in the "up" position (1), then attempt to eject the cartridge by pressing the gray plastic ejection button (2).
If the clear plastic locking lever is not in the "up" position, gently pull the lever upwards.
Troubleshooting
- Verify there are no labels jammed in the printer. If the labels are jammed, use a pair of tweezers to carefully pull the labels out of the printer. Try ejecting the cartridge again. Use scissors to cut the jammed labels.
Important: Be careful using tweezers or anything else sharp as this can damage the printhead.
- Try moving the lever up and down to release the platen roller.
- Try to gently lift the cartridge up only if the clear lever is in the up position.
