Issue

The printer is currently set to DHCP. An IP address is displayed in the printer networking menu, which means it has received an address from the DHCP server. Despite this, the printer cannot be pinged from a command prompt. Network connection test times out in Brady Workstation.

Troubleshooting

1. Power cycle the printer.
2. Confirm the A6200 is properly configured as described in this article: WiFi Security and Authentication Protocols Supported by the A6200

3. Disconnect and reconnect to the network.
4. Try connecting to the network with another device, such as a personal cell phone. If the cell phone is unable to connect, contact your Network Administrator.

Note: WEP is generally considered an unsecure networking protocol. Consider reaching out to your Network Administrator to configure your network to accept a more secure protocol: WiFi Security and Authentication Protocols Supported by the A6200
