To change your COM port settings go into your Device Manager. Expand the header Ports (Com & LPT)
If connected via Serial, select your COM port you physically plugged into in the back of the printer. Right click on it, left click on properties, then go to the ports settings tab, make changes noted above for your printer model.
If connected via serial to USB adapter you will see your adapter name listed, with a (COM#) behind it. Right click on it, left click on properties, then go to ports settings tab, make changes noted above for your printer model.
