Body | Cleaning the S3000 CutterOver time, label adhesive and debris will build up on the cutter blade. The cutter blade can be cleaned with a swab and 90% isopropyl alcohol. Cleaning Instructions1. Squeeze the two yellow cutter tabs to release the cutter
2. If the cutting blade shows significant residue, use the cutter cleaning tool in the cleaning kit to gently scrape the reside off the cutting blade.
3. Moisten one of the foam swabs from the cleaning kit with the alcohol. Do not allow the alcohol to drip from the swab.
4. Clean cutting blade with moistened swab until all residue is removed.
5. Clean beneath the edges of the blade housing with moistened swab. To avoid forcing residue deeper into the machine, use motions from the outer edge of the blade toward the center.
6. Continue cleaning until no residue is visible and clean swabs do not become discolored.
7. Close the cutting blade by pushing up on the exit chute until the cutter tabs snap into place. |
