THT Die-Cut

The 3” core THT die-cut media type follows the same convention, with the exception of some specialty materials. The naming convention indicates size, media type, quantity, and color. 

• Media Type - Indicated by “THT” for 3” core thermal heat transfer printers.
• Size - Size is indicated numerically following the prefix.

• Material Type - Media type is indicated in the suffix, with the exception of some specialty materials.
• Quantity - Quantity is indicated by a decimal or whole-number suffix.
• Color - Blank means white, colors will be indicated in a 2-character suffix following the quantity.

  Other Examples:

• THT-135-427-10 - Same size, material type, quantity of 10,000 in white color.

THT Continuous

The 3” core THT continuous media type follows a very similar convention to die-cut, with the exception of quantity indication. The naming convention indicates size, material type, and color. 

• Media Type - indicated by “THT” for 3” core thermal heat transfer printers
• Size - size is indicated numerically following the prefix
• Material Type - material type is indicated in the suffix following the size
• Color - Color is indicated as a suffix following the material type

  Other Examples:

• THT-21-437-YL - Same size and material in yellow color.

Permasleeve

The PermaSleeve naming convention indicates diameter, width, color, roll size, double-sided, shrink ratio, media type, and perforations (columns). 

• Quantity - Blank for standard, S for small, J for large.
• Size - Size is indicated in diameter and printable width when label is on the liner.
• Double-sided - Double sided is indicated by a “3” or “2” prefix.
• Shrink Ratio - 3:1 shrink ratio is indicated by a “3” prefix, 2:1 shrink ratio is indicated by a “2” prefix.
• Color - Color is indicated by a 2 character suffix (WT, BL, OR, PK, GR, GY, RD, BL, BR, VT).
• Material Type - Material Type is indicated in the prefix (PS - B-342 polyolefin, HT - high temp b-345, FR - B-344 fluid resistant, LSZH - B7641 Low Smoke Zero Halogen, HX - B-7642 Heatex polyolefin, DR - B-7646 diesel resistant.

Other Examples:

• 3PS-187-2-WT-S - Same diameter, width, color, quantity, but not segmented into 4 sections.
• 3PS-187-2-WT - Same diameter, width, color, quantity is blank means roll contains the standard quantity (2,500).
• 3PS-187-2-WT-J - Same diameter, width, color, quantity “J” means 10,000 labels/roll.

Raised Panel


3” core raised panel media has a “THTEP” prefix. The naming convention indicates size, if a notch exists in the media, material type, quantity, and color

• Size - Size is indicated numerically following the THTEP prefix.
• Push button with notch - This is indicated by a “U” 
• Material Type - This is indicated in a suffix following the size and notch designation.
• Quantity - This is indicated as a decimal or whole number value.
• Color - This is indicated in a 2 character suffix in the same grouping as quantity - (YL, BK, GN, RD, YL, SL).

Push button with notch, indicated by a "U" in the part number.
  Other Examples:
 

• THTEP-167-593-.25RD - Same size, but does not include push button notch, contains quantity of 250 and red color.
• THTEP-168-593-.5 - 1.2"x1.9", does not include push button notch, quantity of 500, white (no color).

OSHADA, OSHAWA:  Labels have pre-printed, OSHA-Compliant Danger and Warning Headers

SC - 1” Small core for BBP11/12
2S - a suffix found on portable media to indicate a perforation.
