Cause

The ribbon is not installed, or is improperly installed.

Troubleshooting

Install a ribbon or if a ribbon is installed, verify it is installed correctly: M710 - Load Labels and Ribbon.

The ribbon is non-authentic. Install an Authentic ribbon: BMP61 / M610 / M611 / BMP71 / M710 - Naming Conventions and Compatible Labels and Ribbons.

If the issue persists, contact Global Brady Technical Support Contact Information with the part number and lot number of the materials: What Is The Label/Ribbon Part Number and Lot Number?
