Replace the J2000 RFID Chip
Important: You should not swap RFID chips between label rolls. The label rolls are programmed with the label size and quantity. The RFID chip is in the label on the black plastic core.
- Hold the label roll with the white label facing towards you.
- Push the white label on the black plastic core away from you to pop out the piece.
Note: You may need to apply some force to pop the core out of the label roll.
- Take the new plastic core and push it into the label roll.
Important: If you are unsure of which side to place the black plastic piece on, look for the imprints on the label core. The black plastic piece will be inserted on this side.
- Verify the plastic core is flush with the label roll.
