If your print looks like the image below, or if bar code data is wrong even though the human readable text prints correctly (for example: the bar codes contain and the text shows: 100, 101,102, 103, 104 ... but when you scan them, they do not match the text, they might be like: 100, 100, 104, 102, 100 ...) and you have a Dell computer, the USB port you are using may be the cause.
Workarounds:
1. Network the printer
2. Use the USB port on the right
Our engineers are working with Dell to correct this problem. The problem can happen when using the USB2 ports on the left side of the laptop, but not with the USB3 port on the right. So far we have found this on Dell Laptop Models:
