How to change datasource (Excel file link) in BWS Custom Designer

These errors usually display after opening a label file that had data imported on a different PC. Brady Workstation apps can be configured to automatically check for updates to an Excel file, however if the name or location of the file has changed, the data will need to be reimported.
"The data source for this label is not available, so your data will not be refreshed."
"File Unavailable - Could not find this file. Check that is has not been moved, renamed, or deleted, and try again."
1. Locate the original Excel file.
Note: If your data source resides on on network storage and you continue to have this issue, copy the data source to your local PC as a temporary workaround. You may need to reach out to your IT department to configure access permissions between BWS and your network storage.
2. Open the file, then go to Data Sources.
3. Click Select Excel Import, then click Select Excel File.
