Body | Updating BonjourApple released a security patch for Bonjour in October of 2019 which disabled automatic printer discovery in the Brady Workstation Network Printers app. This patch can only be applied by updating iTunes or iCloud.
Note: If you cannot install or update Bonjour, your BNC printer can still be added manually in the Network Printers app: Brady Printers - Printer Does not Appear in Network Printers App
1. Go to https://www.apple.com/itunes/
2. Scroll down to "Looking for other versions?" and click Windows
3. Click Download iTunes for Windows Now
4. Install iTunes
This updates Bonjour from 3.0.0.1.0 (installed with BWS) to 3.1.0.1 (installed with iTunes). Printers that use the Brady Network Card should be automatically discoverable within the Network Printers app. |
