Pair the BradyPrinter M611 to a Mobile Device via Bluetooth
The BradyPrinter M611 can be configured for Bluetooth connectivity to an Android or Apple smart phone. Labels can be created and printed on these mobile devices using the Express Labels Mobile app.
Note: The M611 Bluetooth capability is only compatible with mobile devices. WiFi or USB connections are required to connect this printer to a PC. So in Brady Workstation, if the M611 or BMP61 printer is followed by the printer's serial number and is "Found Automatically" in BWS "Printers", it is a bluetooth connection and will not work in Brady Workstation until a wifi, network or USB connection is made in the Brady Workstation "Printers" app..
1. The Bluetooth connection should be on by default. If you need to turn Bluetooth on, navigate to Settings > Connection > Bluetooth touch the selector so that it turns green.
2. Access the Bluetooth settings menu of your device, this will vary depending on your operating system. On Android this is found in Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
3. Locate and select the M611, by default it will be named "M611-" followed by the printer serial number.
4. Confirm the passkey by pressing "Confirm" on the M611 touch screen.
Then press OK to confirm on the mobile device.
5. The M611 will now display as under paired devices.
Add the M611 in the Express Labels Mobile App
The Express Labels Mobile app can be installed from the Apple or Android app stores.
1. Launch the Express Labels mobile app on your device.
2. Navigate to Settings > Printers and press the yellow circle with the plus sign in the lower right corner.
3. Select the M611 printer model.
4. Tap Next.
5. Select your printer.
6. This screen will display when the printer is successfully connected.
