Remove Used Ribbon Material from the i5100
- Cut the ribbon just before the ribbon take up spool.
- Remove the ribbon take-up spool from the printer.
- Press and hold the green lever to release ribbon tension while you slide the used ribbon off of the spindle.
Note: If the ribbon was wound too tightly on the take-up spindle and pressing the lever does not loosen the ribbon, you will need to pull the ribbon off of the spindle.
