Body | Enable or Disable Tear-Off Mode Tear-off mode stops the label gap directly beneath the serrated tear-off bar. There is a Tear-Off setting on the printer and in the Driver. This mode should be disable for these media types:
- Raised panel
- Permasleeves
- Labels shorter than .5” in length
Tear-Off Mode on the Printer
- Press Menu on the display pad.
- Using the arrow pad, navigate to Setup and press the down arrow.
- Navigate to Print Param and press the down arrow.
- Navigate to Tear-off mode, press the enter key to select, then toggle to On to enable Tear-off or OFF to Disable using the arrows.
- Press Enter again to lock in the selection.
Tear-Off Mode in the Driver
- Navigate to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click the driver and choose Printer Properties.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Advanced.
- Choose Properties next to Custom Settings.
- Select the Print Mode drop down and choose None to disable Tear-Off or Tear off to Enable. Select OK.
