Body | Cut Settings for the IP300 / IP600 AutoCutter ModelSettings for the auto cutter are configured from the printer driver. Other settings and information
- Tear-Off Mode cannot be used with the cutter. All other cutter functions are controlled solely through the print driver.
- Back Feed Position must be set to 1.0 mm for the cutter to function properly. There may be variations between printers so the Cut Position may be as low as 1.0 mm or as high as 6.0 mm.
- When the printer is on, the cutter goes through a self test and cuts any label that is placed in the cutter faceplate. It is recommended that once the cutter is set up, leave the printer on or it will cut a label after the printer calibrates. The printer calibrates any time the printer is powered on and any time the print head is opened.
- The IP printer with cutter module is not recommended for labels less than 0.75" in height. Small labels may fall into the printer or jam the cutter.
- Tags should not use the cutter function as they are perforated and do not need to be cut.
