How to Clean the i7100



Clean the printer after every roll of labels or sooner depending on the environment. 
 

  1. Turn off the printer
 
  1. Lift the printhead.
 
  1. Remove labels and ribbon from the printer.
 
  1. Clean the platen roller with a lint-free swab with 90% isopropyl alcohol (PCK-6).
Note: Manually rotate the platen roller to clean the entire roller.

  1. Using the PCK-6, clean the black and green part of the printhead. 
Important: Do not use any sharp or hard objects to clean the printhead.

  1. Pull the label sensor towards you via the tab.

  1. Slide the swab in between to clean the label sensor slot with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free swab.

Peel Model Printer
  1. Clean the lower platen roller on the peel model printer.

  1. Clean the pinch roller.
