Import Custom Graphics onto the Internal Memory of the BBP85
Graphics that will be imported must be in the supported format(s) and imported from a USB flash drive. Supported graphic file formats are Windows metafile (*.wmf) and Bitmap (*.bmp). The graphic can be up to 1 MB in size.
Windows metafile (*.wmf) formats are vector images that maintain their clarity and crispness when they are resized. Bitmap files (*.bmp) are composed of pixels which may appear fuzzy and become distorted when they are resized.
Note: Imported graphics should be black and white. If you do not have a monochrome image, you will receive a File Error.
Import Graphics
Copy the graphics you want to import into the root directory of the USB flash drive you will be using.
Connect the USB flash drive that contains the graphic(s) to any available USB port on the printer.
Note: The system only supports one USB flash drive at a time.
Select Menu.
Select Import. The Import dialog box displays.
In the Import dialog box, select Graphics.
In the Available: list, select the graphic you want to import. A preview of the selected graphic shows at the bottom of the dialog box.
Select Import. The graphic will be imported and the name will display in the Installed list.
Repeat Step 5 until all of your graphics have been selected.
Select OK.
Note: If there is not enough space available to store the imported graphic(s), you will have to clear some space by deleting saved files or deleting previously imported files before you can import any new graphics. There is approximately 56MB of storage space available.
Delete Imported Graphics
Select Menu.
Select Import.
In the Import dialog box, select Graphics.
In the Installed: list, select the graphic you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Yes to confirm the deletion. The graphic will be deleted from the Installed list.
