Open the housing [2] by loosening the housing screw. Release the housing cover using a screwdriver.
Strip the cable according to the specified stripping lengths [3]. Fold back 10 mm of the braided shield over the outer cable sheath. Remove the aluminum foil.
Connect the cables. Cable entry can be from the right or left side. The plug as supplied is pre-assembled for left-hand entry.
Right-hand side cable entry [5]. Lift the PCB out of the housing using a screwdriver. Insert the PCB in the housing cover. D-SUB contact 1 = Screw connection 1 D-SUB contact 2 = Screw connection 2 Screw stripped conductors into the corresponding connection block contacts.
Strain relief: For cable type A in accordance with EN 50170: Turn the clip bracket [4]. Lay the shielding under the clip bracket of the strain relief and screw tight [5]. Subsequently, close and screw tight the housing half shells.
Attach the I/O SUB-D 25 Pint Connector to the back of the i7100.
Turn on Print on Demand on the i7100: Settings > Setup > Printing > Print on Demand.
