Body | What Factors Determine if a Label is UL Compliant?
UL is not printer specific - creating UL labels does not require a certain type or model of printer. UL labels must meet certain criteria for their creation and application.
UL Conditions of Acceptability
- The label media is used with an approved ribbon
- The label is applied to an approved surface
- The label is used in an approved environment (indoor/outdoor)
- The environment does not exceed the minimum/maximum temperature rating for the label material
