R 1.17 New Features and Enhancements – September 2022

• Supports Aztec barcodes.

R 1.14 Issues Fixed

• If you created a barcode using combine fields for the data and one of the combined fields was a counter, the software would stop and generate 10,000 labels instead of just incrementing the counter by 1.

• If you created an object set to show on every label, and then used an extension to add data to the object, it was no longer visible on every label.

New Features and Enhancements

• Improved navigation using the keyboard Tab key.
• When you open an extension (Advanced Import, Sequence, and so on) the software informs you if there is a version mismatch and provides the option to update. (If the computer is not connected to the internet, you receive instructions for how to update.) Updating prevents any errors that could occur from incompatible versions.

Issues Fixed

• Vertical alignment was not always correct when data was applied.

• If a label file containing data placed using the Advanced Sequence extension was opened on a computer that did not have the Advanced Sequence extension, the software would quit unexpectedly.
