How to access the inf file to manually install Brady printer drivers
Body
Issue
It is possible that in certain OS environments the .exe may get blocked or stopped from running.
Workaround
Most Brady printer drivers come packaged as .exe files. This allows manually installing the device driver through Device Manager. The .inf file can be used to manually install the driver.
Note: If you have run the driver file and are receiving a "Checking Printer Status Failed" error, please reference this article: Checking Printer Status Failed
Note: If you are using Brady Workstation then driver installation may not be necessary, see this article for a list of printers that do not require a driver with BWS - Brady Workstation - Direct Print Compatibility

Installing 7-zip
In order to complete this process, 7-Zip will need to be installed. Other compression and extraction tools may work, but 7-Zip proves to be the best application for this. The download files can be found at their site: 7-Zip
After 7-Zip has been downloaded and installed, it can be used to extract the .exe that contains the Brady driver files. In the example below this is the driver for the BBP33.
Extracting the .inf File
1. Once the driver file is downloaded. Extract the downloaded zip file and locate the printer .exe within. It will usually be named (printername).exe.
2. Select and Right-click the file to bring up the context menu. Navigate to 7-Zip > Extract files.
3. When the Extract files window loads, verify that the destination path is correct and click OK.
4. After it finishes the extraction, another folder will be added to the destination path.
5. Within that folder are a few setup files, continue navigating in the folder to locate the .inf file.
6. Launch Device Manager and right-click the Brady Printer. It will show in the Other Devices or Software Devices category if the driver has not already been installed. If it is not showing under either category, double check that the driver has not been installed, power cycle the printer, and try another USB port.
Note: If you have a networked printer, go to Devices and Printers within Windows and choose "Add a Printer" at the top. Choose the TCP/IP option and complete the driver wizard.
7. Select browse my computer for driver software.
8. Navigate to the driver folder that includes the .inf file and select Next. This will install the driver for the printer.
To verify installation, check the Devices and Printers window (Start > Control Panel > View devices and printers), the printer will be listed with the correct port settings and should be ready to print.
