Brady recommends the use of standard AA alkaline batteries for the BMP21-PLUS / M210 printer. Using Lithium, Heavy Duty or Ultimate batteries may cause issues, as they exceed the desired voltage output.
It is important to ensure that you are changing all 6 batteries at once; it only takes one battery of a different voltage to cause issues.
