BMP61 - Standalone CSV Import with Advanced List Merge
Body
List Merge & Advanced List Merge
The BMP61 allows saving a CSV to its local memory. This data can then be imported to a label file created standalone on the device, similar to the Excel import process in LabelMark and Brady Workstation.
Creating List Merge & Advanced List Merge
The difference between MERGE and ADVANCED MERGE is ADVANCED MERGE lets you rearrange the order of your columns within the label.
Note: As of firmware 1.0.109926 the BMP61 does not automatically place data in multiple columns into multiple lines on a label.
MERGE
1. Save list as CSV file on your computer 2. Save file to portable USB drive 3. Make sure your BMP61 is turning on and plug the USB (with the CSV file on it) into the printer 4. After plugging in the USB, press the 'LIST' key on the printer 5. Next select 'Merge' then 'External' (since the data is coming from an external USB source) 6. Select the CSV file you created 7. Once selected, all the content from the CSV file will import 8. Notice (in the upper right-hand corner) the amount of labels you created in the CSV file are now individual labels on the computer (Label 1 0f X) 9. Make sure you scroll through all labels (via the 'Next Label' button) to make sure the content on each label is correct 10. Finish by hitting the 'Print' button. All of the labels will print at once.
