If your printer frequently powers off in the middle of use, there may be a couple of causes for this issue.
1. The battery is low:
1. Attach the AC adapter to the printer. This will provide power while also charging the battery at the same time.
2. The Auto Shut Off Delay is set:
1. You can adjust the Shut Off Delay under the Configuration menu in the Setup function.
2. Please refer the following instructions on how to configure the Shut Off Delay.
Config
The following settings can be found under the Config menu in the Setup function.
- Shut Off Delay - Sets the auto-off time-out. This refers to the number of minutes of inactivity after which the printer automatically shuts off.
- No Shut off (AC) - When using the AC adapter, power is constant so there is no drain on the battery. In this case, you can turn off the Shut Off Delay.
3. The AC Adapter has failed. Try a different outlet and test the power supply to confirm output:
- AC Input 100-240V, 2A, 50-60Hz
- DC Output 18V 3.15 A
