All graphics must be converted into a Monochrome Bitmap format before it can be imported into the BMP61 printer.  The imported graphic file size cannot exceed 40KB. 

Converting an Image 

 
  1. Open a graphic in Microsoft Paint.
  2. Save the Graphic as Monochrome Bitmap: How to Convert an Image to Monochrome Bitmap.
  3. Resize and resave the graphic to see the new file size (It must be under 40kb in size).
  4. Save file to USB Flash drive.

Import Graphics

Graphics are added to the BMP61 and M610 printers through the Import function. The function displays in the File menu if an external memory device is attached.

 
  1. Download a graphic from the computer to a USB drive.
  2. Plug the USB drive containing the graphic into the printer.
  3. Press FN + FILE.
  4. Press the right arrow to Import and use the down arrow to highlight Graphics. 
  5. Press OK.
  6. Select the graphic file and press OK.
  7. The image will now appear under Graphics. To access this folder, press FN + Symbols Graphics.
Note: Graphic files (.bmp) are stored in a specific folder used by the Graphics function. This folder is unavailable to the user and therefore, when importing a graphic, the destination screen does not display. Unlike Symbols, imported graphics are not categorized. However, the most recently used graphic displays first in the window.
