File Incompatible With Installed Media
This error occurs when the file you are trying to open was set up for a different label part.
This can also occur if the ribbon installed is not recommended for use with the currently installed label material.
Troubleshooting
- Remove the incompatible label or ribbon.
- Install the correct label or ribbon cartridge.
- Press the [CLEAR] key to clear the error message.
You should now be able to open your saved file.
If receiving this error while using an updated part, find the exact replacement of this part for the error to go away.
File Data Will Not Fit on Installed Media
This error might mean the amount of data will not fit on the labels, possibly because there is not enough media remaining, or the data extends off the label. We have also seen this error occur with corrupt media.
Troubleshooting
- Install a different label cartridge with similar or larger dimensions, preferably with a different lot number.
- If the error continues, you may need to manually recreate the label file for the currently installed media.
