Body
The Font Settings menu in Setup allows changing the font type (typeface), font styles such as Bold, Italic, or Underline, and setting the font units to points or millimeters.
  • The BMP51 offers 2 font types when printing standalone (without PC connection): Brady Alpine and Brady Fixed Width.
  • The M510 has Brady Alpine Slash 0, Brady Alpine No Slash 0, Brady Fixed Width Slash 0, and Brady Fixed With No Slash 0.
  • Font changes must be made before creating a label. Changing the font typeface will not affect an existing label.

You must turn the printer off, turn the printer on, and FN + Clear All for the new font to take effect.

Can I Load Additional Fonts Into the Printer?

No, however printing from software on a PC allows the printer to use any font installed in your Windows operating system.
