You cannot transfer or store Labelmark files on the printer. The BMP51 printer cannot access Labelmark files saved to a USB drive. The USB peripheral port is not meant for storing images or fonts on the printer either.
The USB peripheral port is for a USB flash drive. This makes it possible to transfer saved label files from the printer's internal memory to a USB flash drive. Then you can either back the files up to a PC for archival purposes, or you can transfer the files from the USB flash drive to another BMP51 printer. It is also used for updating the firmware of the printer.
The printer's label files are formatted differently than Labelmark files. |
